NYU Admitted Undergraduate Students

Undergraduate students who enter NYU with credentials from a school outside of the United States must submit a final transcript and proof of graduation or final exam documents directly to ECE. You MUST do this before you can enroll in classes.

You can find detailed information about the documents required for your educational systems by using NYU’s International Qualifications Tool.

Because ECE may need to contact your institutions or exam boards for additional information, you or a parent or guardian (if you are under 18 years old) MUST fill out a consent form before sending in documents. You can find a link to the consent form by accessing the NYU Undergraduate Portal.

Important Reminders

  • On all documents sent to ECE, your name must be spelled exactly the same as on NYU’s Common Application.
  • Include your date of birth when sending documents to ECE.
  • You are not responsible for any costs associated with ECE's review of your documents.
  • Do not create an ECE® account.

Note: You do NOT need to send test score documents sent through an official electronic source, including A-levels submitted by Cambridge International Examinations or the IB.

If you are unsure if you need to send any documents to ECE, email admissions@nyu.edu, and a member of the NYU team will respond.

Please note this information is intended only for applicants to undergraduate admission at NYU. ECE provides evaluation services for many other departments at NYU. Please review the information about credential evaluation services specific to your desired degree program. If you are applying to other schools or departments at NYU and have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

Where to Send Documents

ECE must receive educational documents directly from the school by mail or electronically by email.

  • For email delivery, a school official such as a school counselor, principal, or registrar can email the documents to ecemail@ece.org. Documents must be sent from a verifiable email address listed on the issuing institution’s website. If ECE is not able to verify the official’s name and email address using the school’s website, the documents will need to be sent by mail.
  • For mail delivery, the school can send the documents to: ECE, 101 W. Pleasant St. Suite 200, Milwaukee, WI 53212-3963, USA | Phone Number: +1-414-289-3400

For questions about sending documents, please contact ECE.
