At Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE), we specialize in evaluating academic and professional degrees earned in other countries and recommends their US and Canadian academic equivalencies. Whether you are a student, job seeker, or immigrant, our evaluations play an important role in ensuring that your foreign education is accurately interpreted and valued in the U.S and Canada.

But many people find the process confusing. We understand! There is a lot to navigate when you are going to another country to study or work.  Some of the questions that we are asked most often are…

Your Trusted Partner: Why Choose ECE?

For over 40 years we have built a reputation as a trusted and experienced provider of credential evaluation services. Our reports are widely recognized by colleges, universities, employers, and government agencies across the U.S. and Canada. When you choose ECE, you can trust that your foreign education will be fairly assessed and properly understood within the American and Canadian education and job market.

Breaking Down the Fees: How Much Will It Cost?

Understanding the costs associated with credential evaluations is important for planning the application process. We offer a range of evaluation report types that meet the needs of higher education institutions and professional licensure boards with prices that vary depending on the type of evaluation required. We provide transparent pricing information to help you budget accordingly.

Navigating Documentation Requirements: What Do You Need?

Navigating  the documentation requirements can often be the most challenging part of the evaluation process. We make this step as straightforward as possible by providing clear guidelines by country of education on our documents and requirements page. From academic transcripts to professional certificates, we outline exactly what documents you will need to submit and how to securely send them to us.

Translations and Waivers: Simplifying Language Barriers

For documents issued in languages other than English, translations are required. However, we offer a translation waiver option with a small fee for certain types of reports. And ECE allows you to translate your own documents, as long as they are word-for-word.  You do not need to spend money on an official translation. Our goal is to streamline the process and ensure that language barriers do not stand in the way of getting your education recognized.

Application Process and Scope: What's Included?

When you are ready to submit your documents for evaluation, our application process makes it easy to get started. Simply fill out the necessary forms, submit your materials, and make your payment. It is important to note that while we evaluate academic work and educational credentials, we do not assess work experience as part of our services.
