Module II: Accreditation, Diploma Mills, and Resources


Part 2 of our 5-part series focuses on the legitimacy of higher education institutions.

The Diploma Mill phenomenon has not diminished, and credential evaluators are challenged every day to confirm that a student attended a lawful and authorized school.

One of the top questions posted in The Connection Message Board is "Is this institution legitimate?" Accreditation processes vary worldwide. We will guide you through the process of determining the recognition status of an institution in its own country.

We will also cover a variety of credential evaluation resources.
